US and imperial units
The US gallon, quart, pint and fluid ounce are not the same as the imperial (UK) ones. An imperial gallon is about 20% bigger than a US gallon, and an imperial pint is 20 imperial fluid ounces compared with 16 US fluid ounces in a US pint. This converter shows both so you can compare.
